I work in a variety of mediums including photography, drawing, installation and text. Special interests investigate identity and the embodied mind, i.e. the ongoing relationship of the working of our bodies and minds in constructing our historical, social and personal identities; and the role the photographic image plays in remembering.
Currently research is based around understanding the complexities of memory systems, including visual memory and is informed by a wide range of theoretical perspectives: neuroscience and interpersonal neurobiology; human relationships and attachment; and the growing cultural and philosophical theories on the embodiment of the mind.
