Galatea's Awakening

In Galatea’s Awakening: 2000-2011, I am exploring a recurring flight dream. The dream brings me incredible pleasure, and as it is happening it feels real – I can smell the air as I move through it, feel the wind on my skin, hear and see the world from a great height. It activates all of my senses and I’m constantly disappointed to wake and find I am not really in flight, that I was in fact only dreaming.
